All shareholders must be licensed in the profession

Corporate name must include "Professional Corporation" or "P.C."

Liability Warning

A professional corporation does NOT protect you from your own malpractice or professional negligence. It only shields you from liability for the acts of other shareholders in the corporation. You must still maintain individual malpractice insurance.

Formation fee: $125 filed with PA Department of State, plus publication in two newspapers.
