13. Technology-Assisted Services

To deliver our services efficiently, we use technology tools — including artificial intelligence (AI) — to assist with intake, document drafting, and communication workflows. You should understand:

  • AI-Assisted Intake: Our intake chat is powered by an AI assistant that gathers information from you. The AI does not provide legal advice. All information collected is reviewed by a PA licensed attorney before any document is prepared or delivered.
  • AI-Assisted Drafting: The attorney may use AI tools to assist with the initial drafting of documents. Every document is reviewed, revised, and approved by the attorney before delivery. The attorney is solely responsible for the legal sufficiency, accuracy, and quality of any document delivered to you.
  • No AI Legal Advice: AI tools used in our services do not — and cannot — provide legal advice. Only the supervising attorney can give legal advice within the scope of an engagement.
  • Confidentiality: AI processing of your information is performed via service providers bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms consistent with our obligations under PA Rule of Professional Conduct 1.6. Information you provide is not used to train public AI models.
  • Human Oversight: A licensed attorney (Robert Cowburn, Esq., PA Bar #328198) supervises all technology-assisted work consistent with PA Rules of Professional Conduct 5.1, 5.3, and the November 2024 PBA Formal Opinion on attorneys' use of generative AI.

If you do not consent to AI-assisted intake or drafting, contact us at [email protected] to discuss alternative arrangements.
