Allegheny County District Attorney — ARD Unit

General Requirements

First-time, non-violent offender
No prior ARD participation
Victim notification and input considered
Completion of assigned program (community service, classes, supervision)
Payment of restitution and program costs

DUI-Specific ARD Requirements

Highway Safety School and CRN evaluation
License suspension: 30 days (general impairment) or 60 days (high/highest BAC)
Ignition interlock may be required upon license restoration
Community service hours as assigned
