Judgment Collection
Legal Services
Winning a judgment is only half the battle. RepYou412 provides attorney-drafted writs of execution, garnishment petitions, bank levies, and lien filings to help you actually collect what you\'re owed in Allegheny County.
Collection Methods We Support
Multiple tools to enforce your judgment and collect what\'s owed. We help you choose the right approach.
Writs of Execution
Direct the Allegheny County Sheriff to seize and sell the debtor's personal property to satisfy your judgment. Available through both MDJ and Court of Common Pleas.
Wage Garnishment
Petition to garnish a portion of the debtor's wages directly from their employer, subject to Pennsylvania's garnishment limits under 42 Pa.C.S.A. § 8127.
Bank Account Levies
Freeze and collect funds from the debtor's bank accounts. We prepare the levy request with proper service requirements for financial institutions.
Judgment Liens
Record your judgment as a lien against the debtor's real property. The lien attaches to all real estate owned in the county and must be satisfied before sale.
Interrogatories in Aid
When you can't locate assets, we prepare discovery requests that require the debtor to disclose employment, bank accounts, and property under oath.
Contempt Motions
If a debtor ignores court orders or discovery requests, we draft motions for contempt to compel compliance or impose sanctions.

Important: Collection Rules & Deadlines
Pennsylvania judgments must be renewed periodically to remain enforceable. MDJ judgments must be transferred to the Court of Common Pleas for certain enforcement actions. The statute of limitations on executing a judgment is generally 4 years but can be extended by revival.
Pennsylvania law provides certain exemptions that protect debtor property from execution, including the $300 personal property exemption and wage garnishment limits. Understanding these exemptions is critical for effective collection.
All documents are drafted and reviewed by a PA licensed attorney.
